When power is turned off on a Softrol MicroPulse washer controller, the control remembers what the state of the machine was when the power was removed and attempts to resume at that point when power is restored. If the washer was Waiting For A Load or Unload, then the appropriate state is resumed.
A special case is created when power is removed while the MicroPulse is executing a formula. When power is restored to the MicroPulse it will re-start with the following message for the operator:Power Interrupted
During Formula
Execution! Press
[YES] to Resume.
Pressing YES will resume the formula at the previous point of execution.
Sometimes, it is not desired to re-start the formula. To cancel the formula without re-starting it, a valid password should be keyed into the MicroPulse. The MicroPulse will respond to the entry of a valid password with the following display:
Power Interrupted
During Formula
Execution! [YES] to
Resume. [NO] to Exit
Note that the MicroPulse now displays a new option to Exit the formula by pressing the NO key.
Passwords may be programmed in this state in the usual manner. For more details about password programming, please contact the Softrol Service department.
Please note that on Dryers, A PASSWORD IS NOT REQUIRED to cancel the formula. Pressing the NO key will exit the formula without resuming. This is allowed because of the sensitive nature of drying processes.
